This is an area of "outstanding Natural Beauty" & one where the Golf Courses are well known and maintained. In staying and playing you can enjoy every home comfort. Whilst there is much to enjoy in the way of natural beauty, there is, for those that wish to walk in the historic streets of Chepstow & Monmouth many a hidden treasure trove.
After your game on one of our fine golf courses, a welcome home beverage, a good meal and a really good bed will have you fresh for the day’s golf. Out of the many surrounding golf courses, we have purposely selected just four enjoyable & varied courses. These will allow you an interesting variety of “Country Club” styled golf in wonderful countryside. They are listed below in no particular order.
Forest Hills Golf Club
"Forest Hills Golf Club” has a par 72 parkland course, undulating
through the countryside, in the Forest of Dean. Enjoyable for all
levels of player, the course plays host to West Region PGA Order
of Merit events, including "The Forest Classic" during August and
has a reputation for being well maintained with excellent greens.
Equipment including electric trolleys and buggies are available
to hire. The members bar, with its balcony overlooking the course,
serves good food all day.

Monmouth Golf Club
“Monmouth Golf Club” celebrated it’s centenary in 1996 and has
been in it’s present location since 1921. Originally, it was a nine
hole course & in 1992 it was extended to the lovely 18 hole
course it has become. The comfortable clubhouse offers a drink or
a meal with a magnificent view of the course and the countryside.
Claiming to be the prettiest course in Wales, Monmouth Golf Club
stands on high ground above the town with superb views towards the
Welsh hills, the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley.
The undulating parkland course, splendidly maintained throughout
the year by green keeper Lee Williams & his assistants is 5,582
yards off the white tees. 5507 off yellow (par69, SSS67) and 5118
off the Ladies tees (par72, SSS72).

Raglan Parc Golf Club
"Raglan Parc" is set in the heart of rural Monmouthshire. Easily
and quickly accessible from us, it features 18 holes of rolling
parkland, combining lakes and mature trees with arguably some of
the best holes in the region. The course overlooks historic Raglan
Castle with scenic views of the Brecon Beacons National Park. The
quality of the catering at the club makes it the envy of many establishments
in the area. There is always a warm welcome guaranteed at the clubhouse,
which is the perfect place to conclude one of the best days of a
country golfing trip.

Raglan, Monmouthshire.

The Rolls of Monmouth Golf Club
"The Rolls" from its imposing gates, to the grand “home” of the
late Charles Stewart Rolls, is a memorable experience. Mature trees,
streams and beautiful topography blend with the magnificent golf
course of some 6,733 yards. The course is in two halves, separated
by a large wooded hill. It allows for a wide range of shots in an
idyllic setting giving a thoroughly worthwhile experience. All
your needs are readily available. To end the golfing day there
is a good club house with all that one would need.
